Mosquito Creek features fly lines, tapered leader, and tippet from Rio, Hardy, and Cortland. Rio fly lines include the Rio Gold, Rio Grand, Rio Outbound and more in WF weight forward tapers for every target species and water conditions from small stream trout to tropical gamefish including tarpon and bonefish. Hardy Marksman, Hardy Mach Saltwater, and Cortland Tropic Plus fly lines with weights from 2 wt for small trout to 12 weight for tarpon. For the split cane bamboo and classic glass fly rods a selection of DT double taper lines is available from Rio, Hardy, and Cortland. Tapered leaders from Rio and Climax include trout down to 7X and hand tied tarpon up to 100 lb. These fly fishing knotless tapered leaders are also available in species specific styles with varying stiffness, tint, taper and lengths. Trout, bass, redfish, bonefish, tarpon, striped bass, and indicator leaders are made using unique compounds of monofilament and in certain styles, fluorocarbon, and are available in lengths from 6' to 15'. Tippet from Rio, Hardy and Climax includes monofilament and fluorocarbon, hard or supple, in styles for general use as well as fish species specific. Rio tippet includes alloy-hard and heavy nylon for saltwater use through Suppleflex, a soft monofilament with great knot strength for finicky trout.
